San Carlos, CA

A great room addition in San Carlos built around a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a deck with hillside views.

The addition is built around a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, opening onto a deck with hillside views beyond. Furnished simply — a sofa, leather armchairs, and little else competing for attention — the room is built to let the site do the work.
