The Hilltop

Milpitas, CA

The Site

The lot sits on a hillside with a 45 percent existing grade. Retaining the slope required soldier pile retaining walls installed in tight-access conditions, and every structural element — including the pool — needed a deep foundation system to bear on ground this steep.

The Engineering

Meticulous planning and coordination with vendors, trades, and the City of Milpitas carried the project through its structural work, from the retaining walls to the deep foundations.

Materials and Details

Interiors throughout are finished in high-end materials with radiant floor heating.
