We take a custom home from a raw or teardown lot through final walkthrough: site and soils assessment, coordination with your architect and structural engineer, permitting, and construction — framing and foundation self-performed, every other trade managed in-house.
This is our core focus. We're set up for it: an in-house team that stays on the job from the first site visit to the final punch list, rather than handing the project between separate design, permitting, and construction firms.
How It Works
Custom homes go through the same five steps as every project — walkthrough, quote, planning, construction, closeout — but the planning phase runs longer here. Before we give you a schedule, we coordinate with your architect and structural engineer on anything the site requires, so the plan we hand you is one we can actually build to.

Do you build on hillside or otherwise difficult lots?
Yes — it's a large part of what we do. The Hilltop, one of our featured projects, sits on a 45 percent existing grade and required soldier pile retaining walls and deep foundations throughout, including under the pool.
Do I need to already have an architect?
No. We coordinate closely with your architect if you have one, or work with firms we've partnered with before. Either way, our team stays involved from early design through construction so nothing gets lost in the handoff.
How long does a custom home take?
It depends on the site and the scope — a flat, straightforward lot moves differently than a steep hillside site with retaining walls and deep foundations. We'll give you a project-specific schedule once planning is underway, not a generic estimate.

Do you handle permitting?
